What's This?

Wonders = divine act that transcends the known laws of nature; miracles; signs

Exodus 15:11 Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?

PSALM 17:6-7 (NIV)

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;
turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
Show me the wonders of your great love,
you who save by your right hand
those who take refuge in you from their foes.

Psalm 40:5  Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

Psalm 65:8  The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.

Psalm 78:4  We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.

Psalm 136:3-5 (NIV)

Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.

to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.

Daniel 4:2-3 (NIV)

It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me.

How great are his signs,
how mighty his wonders!
His kingdom is an eternal kingdom;
his dominion endures from generation to generation.

Acts 4:30  Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

Hebrews 2:1-4 (NIV)  Warning to Pay Attention

2 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

How great, O Lord, You are!  From generation to generation.  Your Word speaks of wonders past, present and yet to come–GLORY!  That means they are for TODAY.  For  US–and we boldly proclaim Your wonders.  May we not drift away, O Lord, for Your great wonder is written, “His love endures forever.”

In Jesus name.  Amen

Have you called on God to show you His wonders?

Do you know His enduring Love?

Are you in awe of God and telling of His great love to the next generations?
