Four Easy Ways to Practice Your Faith Everyday

Do you ever feel run down, stressed, or like you can’t possibly keep up with everything going on in your life? If you answered yes, rest assured, you are not alone.

The non-stop nature of our lives can be hard to manage. It can also take away from fulfilling our relationship with God. We may be on different paths, yet one thing we have in common is our walk with God. Many of us may begin to realize there’s also some room for improvement in our faith life.

The non-stop nature of our lives can be hard to manage and can take away from our relationship with God. Learn four ways to practice your faith daily.

With the roller coaster ride that is life, our faith is what allows us to keep putting one foot in front of the other. It’s so easy to lose sight of God’s grace in our everyday, yet it’s extremely important to refocus and reestablish our relationship with Him, especially when we have lost our focus.

Being present in your relationship and conscious of it every single day will keep you fulfilled and become a better parent, grandparent, sibling, or friend.

Thank God, we have all of the tools we need in order to see and feel His presence regularly. You can thank Him for that. It’s up to us to simply open our Bible, dig into His word and deepen the relationship. We also have to choose to maintain that relationship.

Here are some quick reminders on how to feel God’s grace everyday, as well as how to help others feel it too.

Remember to Be Thankful

We get caught up in our own hectic schedules and day-to-day tasks causing us to push through the challenge, fail to stop long enough to even breathe deeply. We rarely take the time to press pause, lift our heads to look up or around us and be thankful for all the gifts we’ve been given.

We can be in the midst of difficulties or experiencing challenges, leading us towards pessimism where we start to pity ourselves. Whether it’s something as simple as a bad day, or the need to begin navigating a major change in your life, choose to exercise your faith. Daily.

This daily practice will allow you to focus on the good and be aware of the many things God has blessed you with.

Spend Time with Those You Love

Choose to be thankful for the time we have with our loved ones. Surrounding yourself with family and friends is one of the best ways to see and feel God’s grace. These are the people you trust most and tend to share common values with.

Encourage regular conversation, spend quality time where you can create lasting memories, and be mindful of how important it is to share some of God’s teachings with the younger members of the family.

There are so many wonderful resources for families to help spread God’s word. Everything from daily words of affirmation that will keep you grounded, to Christian movies the whole family can gather around, to traditions you’re building based around faith and values are all beautiful moments for the next generation to carry on.

Help Where You’re Needed Most

Do not lose sight of others who desperately need your help to feel God’s love in their life. A simple “hello” or a friendly gesture offered in passing is so important to them – and to you.

Consider scheduling time to volunteer in your community. Get involved with initiatives in your local or global church that compel you. Challenge yourself to engage at a deeper level where you already are engaged.

Many wonderful organizations are doing incredible work for individuals and families. Convoy of Hope is one such organization bringing about positive change. Pure Flix has partnered with Convoy of Hope to help provide $100,000 worth of food, medicine, and supplies to those who need it most.

Make Time to Pray

Setting aside time each day to connect with God on a one-on-one basis is extremely important. It not only strengthens our relationship with Him, it also prepares us to tackle the ups and downs of life with grace and positivity.

Through prayer, we’re comforted and strengthened, allowing ourselves to be in a better frame of mind. Prayer helps us do the fine tuning needed. It also helps us develop a more considerate attitude toward others. Strengthening our relationship with God is a great way to carry Him with us each and every day – and share His word wherever we go.

Treat your relationship with God just like you would any other important relationship in your life. Work at it, cherish it, and do what you need to in order to strengthen it and maintain it. God loves us unconditionally. May I urge you to remember to give Him the time He deserves each day.

It’s up to us to begin or end each and every day with Him. Practice these tips yourselves. Share them with others.
