Good morning! I’m Holt, Susan’s husband, and this is my first blog post filling-in for her today. Unfortunately, Susan’s had a second trip to the doctor due to another encounter with poison ivy this week.
Apparently Moses and the Israelites also had issues with rashes and itching.
If anyone has a swelling or a rash or discolored skin that might develop into a serious skin disease, that person must be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons. – NLTLeviticus 13:2
Just as the Israelites washed their clothes and skin to be clean again, we must also wash ourselves clean of the “poison ivy” of the world that can bring discomfort and sickness into our lives.
If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. – NLT2 Timothy 2:21
so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. – NLTPhilippians 2:15

Oh my! I’ve only had poison ivy once and that was a couple of years ago. Believe me, Susan! I feel your pain! I was MISERABLE! I’ll be praying for your quick recovery! And thanks for the linkup!
Poison ivy is not fun. So sorry, Susan. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you Debbie, I do!
