Thank you for the spelling lesson, for the dictionary with the definitions of Your words, O Lord.  Thank You, Father God, for YOUR WORD, The Bible, that we have Your Word to live by so that we may move from holey to wholly committed to living for You as Your holy people … and not the other way around!

Be holy

Because I AM Holy

To move from darkness into His light

For salvation

To see the Lord

To share in the first resurrection

You made us holy, a holy people and a holy nation, God’s special possession = you will declare our names Lord Jesus!

Your Holy Name = Glory!

Your Holy Temple=THANK YOU for reigning over us and seeing all, Lord

Your holy people living a holy life = Your delight

We vex you and put you to the test when we fail to be holy and are “holey”  – yes, Lord, we are full of holes, Lord.  Fill us up Lord, I pray.

Holy God = Redeemer, teacher, director

Holy One of God – even the impure spirits recognize and call you by name, Jesus of Nazareth

Holy Spirit descended like a dove on You, Jesus.  “My Son,” said the Voice from Heaven

Jesus praised God that He shows His truth to innocent, little children.  Anoint us and reveal Your truth and Your Holy Self, I pray.  O LORD, may I have the eyes and heart of a child.

Holy (and wholly!) One God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit

May the holy continue to be holy.  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

In Jesus name.  Amen
