What's This?

Ezra 7:9 He had begun his journey from Babylon on the first day of the first month, and he arrived in Jerusalem on the first day of the fifth month, for the gracious hand of his God was on him.

Ezra 8:18 Because the gracious hand of our God was on us, they brought us Sherebiah, a capable man, from the descendants of Mahli son of Levi, the son of Israel, and Sherebiah’s sons and brothers, 18 in all;

Ezra 8:22 I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to protect us from enemies on the road, because we had told the king, “The gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but his great anger is against all who forsake him.”

Nehemiah 2:8 And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal park, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests.

Nehemiah 2:18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.

Malachi 1:9 “Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?”—says the Lord Almighty.

Thank You, O most gracious God, may Your hand, Your gracious hand, be upon us.

As we journey throughout this magnificent life You have given us

As capable people are brought into our lives

May we remember to look to YOU for our protection

May we remember to look to you for our provision…and ask with confidence, even from officials and high places

Let us, Your chosen people, begin Your good work, Lord…and find willing hands and hearts  for You

Lord, You instructed us to plead with You to be gracious to us from the offerings in our hands.  May they be acceptable to You, Father.  We come before You, pleading for Your gracious hand to be upon us, Lord God Almighty.

In Jesus name.  Amen
