Give thanks = Gratitude, thankfulness, gratefulness, or appreciation is a feeling or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive

1 Chronicles 16:34-35 (NIV)

34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

his love endures forever.

35 Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior;

gather us and deliver us from the nations,

that we may give thanks to your holy name,

and glory in your praise.”

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,

to receive glory and honor and power,

for you created all things,

and by your will they were created

and have their being.”

Revelation 11:17 saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

THANK YOU, O LORD!  Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.  We give thanks for your precious Word, Lord God Almighty.  You exhort us to give thanks repeatedly…and You remind us, again and again, and again, that Your love endures FOREVER.

Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”  We give thanks that You love us, O Lord, our God.  You sent Your Son, Jesus, to teach us to give thanks, break bread and lift His cup in remembrance of Him.  We give thanks to You, our Lord God, Father, Creator, Maker.  We give thanks to You for making us, for making this beautiful day, for creating Your love that endures forever and for making a way through Your Son, Jesus, for us to live eternally in Your Holy Presence.  We rejoice and give thanks to You.
