God led me – on path to becoming fearless and forgiven – and forgiving.
Why? He had to! I was gripped by fear and filled with unforgiveness. I quaked and shrank back into the shadows following the loss of my younger son, Kyle, fearful of every phone call and knock on the door – and so much more.
But God is bigger than fear and full of forgiveness. He pursues us as He calls us His own. He woos us with His glorious Word. And He calls us His own. I’m so thankful.
I pray these eight truths God whispered through His Book, the Bible, encourage you as much as they did me. Hugs – from my heart to yours. Susan
Fear = an emotion of dread or alarm caused by danger
Forgive = to pardon or acquit of sins; acquittal
Isaiah 43:1
But now, says the Lord—
the one who created you, Jacob,
the one who formed you, Israel:
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are mine.
Isaiah 43:5a
Do not fear,
I am with you.
Psalm 46:1-2
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
Psalm 79:8-9
8 Do not hold against us the sins of our fathers;
may your mercy come quickly to meet us,
for we are in desperate need.
9 Help us, God our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins
for your name’s sake.
Luke 6:37-38
37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Psalm 97:5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.
Acts 10:36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
O LORD, thank you for teaching us to:
Fear not
Judge not
Condemn not
Forgive
Give
And when we do, You, O Lord,
Redeem us
Call us BY NAME
Say, “You are mine”
Say, “I am with you”
Are our refuge and strength
Are an EVER PRESENT help in trouble
Deliver us
Forgive our sins
Pour a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over into our laps
Because You are LORD OF ALL.
Thank You for richly blessing us with Your Truth, O Father God, our LORD of ALL. Touch the hearts of the ones You plan to touch today with the Truth of Your Word, Lord God. In the powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Mary,
Dear Father, we come to You, our Healer, lifting the name of Your daughter, Mary Hill, to You. You say come, so we do. You heal, so we ask for healing for Mary. And we praise You for Who You are. Thank You, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen
