Be released…from what? To what? Those were my first thoughts when I heard be released was my “word” for 2019. Yes, that is correct. 2019.
How I fought it, yet being released includes being released from a weekly blog and linkup. Like you have not noticed, right?!
I owe each one of you an apology for not sharing earlier, yet wanted to let you know that even though God released from posting weekly, I will still post occasionally however I will no longer be hosting the weekly Dance With Jesus linkup, which started in 2015.
I fought letting go, honestly. Yet God has different plans.
One thing I’ve been released to do is tend to my husband of 40 years, Holt. He has had some health challenges including memory issues. So please pray for God to supernaturally heal him, in Jesus name.
I love each one of you who has been and is part of this journey we call writing and blogging. You are precious friends whom I truly cherish. Thank You Lord for five wonderful years and for all the friends I’ve meet on this journey.
May God bless you, each and every one. (Sounds like something out of Scrooge…!)
As God instructed Moses:
“Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing:
‘May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’
Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them.”
Numbers 6:23-27
God bless you as He releases each one of us to follow where He leads, each and every day. Heartfelt hugs, Susan
Dear Susan, know that you’re loved. I truly enjoyed meeting you in Burtigny after all these years of blogging together. Now is time for new things. Be released and be blessed. Healing and uplifting grace to both you and Holt!
God bless you and your husband, Susan. I’m agreeing with you in prayer that God would supernaturally heal him.
Psalm 103:2-5
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
I’m sorry to hear about the memory challenges with Holt. 🙁 Yes, joining you in prayer for his healing and for your strength. Thanks for hosting so long, Susan. You had a great run and I appreciate that. May God give you much grace on this next leg of your journey!
Hi, Susan.
I had guessed that you were having to prioritize differently in this season.
God is doing something new in you!
Rejoicing along with you in his provision and his gift of wisdom for you as you face the unique challenges ahead.
Blessings to you!
Isn’t it amazing how they’re no comments now that you’re not hosting a linkup?
I appreciate your apology though I didnt think it was necessary.
Blessings to you.
