Come Lord Jesus.
[Tweet “Hope. Joy. The Crown. Glory. Calm in the Chaos. Come Lord Jesus!”]For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? 1 Thessalonians 2:19
Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. 1 Thessalonians 3:11
Clear the way! Come! Is this excitement or calm assurance?
May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones. 1 Thessalonians 3:13
Blameless. Holy in the presence of God.
[Tweet “I’m finding calm in the chaos of this life looking to the next!”]Come Lord Jesus.
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Come Lord Jesus
Be my guest
Be with me
Throughout my quest.
Fill my heart
Fill my mind
Fill my life –
Make me kind.
In Your Image
I request
Shape me, mold me –
You know best.
Pour Your Word
Into my soul
To learn of You
Is my goal.
Purge the unholy
From me I implore
Help me, Father
as I explore.
Hold me close,
This I pray
So I may walk
With You today.
Finding Calm
Help me forgive.
Come Lord Jesus!
In You I truly live!

What a beautiful poem/prayer and the Word which reminds us to set our hope on Him, make our home in Him, focus our goal in Him all for the peace that passes understanding so that we can share more of Him.
Blessings!
Dawn

What a great concept to ask God to clear the clutter that gets in the way of an eternal perspective. YES! “Then we who are alive shall be caught up together with Him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the LORD!” Can’t read those words without a chill of excitement!
Yes indeed Michele!
Susan, that is a beautiful poem. Thank you so much. I’m going to read it over again. Have a blessed weekend, friend.
