Tell Your Story Video & #DanceWithJesus Friday

What I would say to folks that I mentor is that when you start on this journey you might be in a dark spot or a broken spot, or you may have walked a little way on the journey and be in a better place. But you see a light or you’re looking for a light.

Now, what I want you to do is put pen to paper and see the journey. I want you to visualize the dark spot. I want you visualize where you are today. And I want you to tell me where you want to be.

Write it out on paper; describe what the journey looks like. If you’re looking to others as your source of hope, write it down. Who are they? What have they done? What are you looking for? Describe it.

[Tweet “Tell your story. That’s the journey we’re going to take together.”]

So put pen to paper, or speak it, or record it or YouTube it. It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s video or written.

Tell your story.

  1. It was my own life, by my own hand, that I nearly lost. Walking through the grief and shame seemed impossible. But the Father’s love NEVER fails and waking every morning to fresh mercies is the journey I’m on.

Thankful to be a part of this amazing life…sharing stories of God’s amazing grace!

(even when I’m late to the party :o) )

  2. Crystal, that is so true. Perspective. It takes time for all the elements of our story to come together to see the work of His hand in our lives. So very true.

  3. Praying to always see His hand in my story and in the stories of others. Sometimes it is only when looking back I can see where God guided me through the more difficult situations, but His faithfulness continues to amaze me. : )

  4. Susan, last year I walked through the unexpected death of my best friend. It was, and still is, the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Can’t wait for your book release. It will be a blessing to many!

    1. Oh Kristine, my heart breaks for you. What a huge loss that leaves a massive hole in its wake. May God fill it and soften those ragged edges of grief as He walks you through the valley of the shadow of death. He shines the brightest light in the darkest place. Hugs.
