Linger
A little longer
Spending time with Me.
Folks talk about the One Word God drops in their soul for searching and growing in Him throughout a year. This year, linger is what is speaking so loudly to me. I invite you to also linger in the Lord’s presence. May I share these words with you today?
13 O my darling, lingering in the gardens,
your companions are fortunate to hear your voice.
Let me hear it, too!
Song of Solomon 8:13 (NLT)
God invites you linger in the garden with Him.
He wants to hear your voice.
So linger a little longer in His Holy Presence.
Can you resist this invitation?
Would you want to?
Linger
A little longer
Sharing Love
That’s meant to be.
For I AM Love
And you are MINE.
So Linger
A little longer
Such sweet time.
Linger in My love
It’s from above
I sit in My throne
Making Myself known
By My love.
So linger
A little longer
Come sit with Me.
Linger a little longer
Come and be…
MINE.
Chosen
Anointed
Appointed
Child of The Most High God.
O Holy God
Let me see
Your grace
And mercy.
Descend from on high
O Lord, let me fly
Into Your arms
Protect me from harm.
For Your presence
Is Heaven to me.
So linger
a little longer
And be
with Me.
In Your presence
Is when healing comes
Love pours down
And it is done.
Joy Divine
All loves enfolding
Come Lord Jesus…
Hold me.
El Shaddai
God on High
May I linger
A little longer
With You?
Lead us Lord
We will follow
No seed will fall
Fallow.
[Tweet “Reap a harvest Of hungry souls Lord, You lead us And fill our bowls.”]
Full
Satisfied
Safe and serene
Covered, Lord Jesus
Do not depart
Burn a fire
Eternally
In our hearts
[Tweet “May Your light shine Lighting the path On this child And all mankind.”]
Lead us
Feed us
Let us linger
Just a little longer.
Joy Divine
All love is Yours
For God is love
Of this I am sure.
Pour it down
From above
L O V E
Pure, sweet love.
In Jesus name.
Amen
Yes Lord
Let me
Linger
Just a little longer

Yes, let’s linger a little longer. You know, Susan, why do we often fight lingering for so long? Maybe it’s one of the forms rest often includes? Slowing down, taking time – they are a dicotomoy to life’s fast pace, to the American way. But not to God’s. I’m joining you there today, making time to linger precedence. “Stay the course” is what I heard at the turn of the year. Lingering is there, I believe. Good word, my friend. Praying for you and your father as well. #livefreeThursday
Beautiful words that draw me to Him. Makes me hungry to linger!
I am glad I clicked on your link. I needed these words today.
How pretty… 🙂
Thanks so much for hosting.
Nice post and I love to linger longer LOL
Have a lingalongatastic week 🙂

How lovely. <3
And, great word for 2016, love it.
((blessings))
This is so beautiful, Susan! THE LORD truly aligned our hearts this week as my one word pertains to just being with HIM more as well. I just love your heart. You have been such a radiant light. GOD bless you, beautiful friend! 🙂
This is very pretty today Susan! What a poetic change up. Wonderful.
So encouraging, Susan. My word for the year is abide, a cousin to linger, I am sure. Thank you for this reminder. And your graphics are beautiful!
Stopping by from FMF where we’re neighbors. Blessings!
Susan, when will the linkup open? Somehow I can’t find it. Thanks.
Glad someone else can’t! I thought I was going mad!!!
Love your words on lingering. So beautiful, Susan. Blessings and hugs!
YES Susan just a little longer with Him.
Beautiful Susan 🙂
What a wonderful word for the year! To linger instead of rush; to spend more time noticing and becoming aware, instead of always continuing to move forward. So counter-culture, yet just what Jesus wants us to do with him. Lovely!
sounds like a poem written while lingering! That’s a powerful word for such a time as this–given the constant connection to the world we now have.
Beautifully written. Wishing you a happy and blessed Friday.
What an experience – to linger with our Creator and the One who loves us most. Thanks for the beautiful reminder, Susan!
Wow! Beautiful, poetic encouragement today, friend. You’re making me smile and encouraging me to LINGER in His presence and love. Thank you.
Imagine! The God of the universe wanting to spend time with us, His tiny creations. We are so blessed!
Beautiful words, Susan! So fitting as life has forced me deeper into a quieter space!
Love it!
I love the word ‘linger’. I have relied on being obedient to lingering with God when I feel disconnected from Him. Lingering always brings me back.
This is beautiful, Susan!
