ORLANDO — May 2020 — Wycliffe Bible Translators USA announced this month the launch of its new podcast, “Wycliffe Women of the Word.” Hosted by Beth Matheson and Jenn Stasak, “Wycliffe Women of the Word” is an opportunity for listeners to connect to the Bible, grow in community with other women and recognize their God-given value as women.
Wycliffe has released the complete first season as part of the launch. Episodes center around discussions with well-known authors, missionaries, and musicians, including singer/songwriters Laura Story (episode 1) and Ellie Holcomb (episode 2). Each guest discusses impactful experiences and lessons through the lens of Scripture and offers listeners resources for further reflection.
“Jenn and I are so excited to connect with listeners all over the world, to help them grow in community and faith,” said host Beth Matheson. “We’re blessed to have guests share their real-life experiences, offering us an opportunity to hear how God is moving in and through them.”
Beth Matheson is a writer for Wycliffe’s Women of the Word ministry. She and her husband, Mike, have been members of Wycliffe since 2004 and have served as missionaries both at the JAARS center in North Carolina and overseas.
Jenn Stasak has served with Wycliffe since 2015 and has contributed significantly to Wycliffe’s editorial and published content, including newsletters and updates for Wycliffe’s missionaries and supporters, Women of the Word resources, as well as several devotionals.
