Stronghold. O LORD!

Stronghold = a place that has been fortified so as to protect it against attack; fortress; a place of survival or refuge; used in the Bible as a metaphor to represent things that are based only on human confidence or pride; walls or fortresses built around human beliefs and emotions to protect ourselves from pain versus relying on God to heal the deep, deep wounds.  God divinely pulls down our strongholds to heal us.
