Yes, Lord, the land is Yours and You take us with You. Thank You that we are Yours.
Let me ask a question. Is truth really everything I own are my actions, my words, my love of the Lord, how I show my love to my husband, my son, my friends, in my writing, how I take care of that which God has giving me – for my life is His. Is my heart showing in everything I own?
59 And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the Lord, be near the Lord our God day and night, that He may maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, as each day may require, 60 that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no other.
1 Kings 8:59-60 (NKJV)
Yes, indeed, the Lord is God and there is no other! Maintain our cause, Lord, and cause us to be in Your will, obedient to Your voice, Your covenant, treasured by You. Even when websites are blank white page, followers unfollow, haters hate and the world is wretchedly chaotic with clamoring voices and violence aimed at distracting and distancing us from You.
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
Exodus 19:5 (NKJV)
Do I mean that – truly mean my life is His? Or do I want to control every single point, person, and process in my life?
What a difficult question to tackle! What do I know? Having lost my youngest son, I realize everything I own is a gift from God, on loan to me for a little while. My job is to treasure everything – every person, every thing, every promise – while I have them. Every bit of that may be gone in the time it takes to blink an eye.
I must make time for the people who matter most to me – and the people God places in my path, as His plans and purposes are paramount.
Speak life and love God’s people – yes, your husband too.
How can God trust me with anyone else if I can’t, won’t or don’t honor, respect and love the one He gave me to live life in a godly covenant relationship with as husband and wife? How can God give me more people to tend to or minister to, when the one He entrusted to me is left alone, shunned, shattered or splattered with ungodly words or actions?

From the rising of the sun to its going down.

Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”

I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

“What right have you to declare My statutes,
Or take My covenant in your mouth,
17 Seeing you hate instruction
And cast My words behind you?
18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him,
And have been a partaker with adulterers.
19 You give your mouth to evil,
And your tongue frames deceit.
20 You sit and speak against your brother;
You slander your own mother’s son.
21 These things you have done, and I kept silent;
You thought that I was altogether like you;
But I will rebuke you,
And set them in order before your eyes.
22 “Now consider this, you who forget God,
Lest I tear you in pieces,
And there be none to deliver:
23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me;
And to him who orders his conduct aright
I will show the salvation of God.”

For the world is Mine and everything in it. Thank You, Lord!
I will deliver you and you shall glorify Me. Yes Father – GLORY!
Whoever offers praise glorifies Me. I praise You, Lord God Almighty.
So get your conduct aright…
And God will show His mighty salvation.
Yes, Father, everything I own is Yours. Thank You, I praise You and You alone. The Mighty One, God the Lord, has indeed spoken, “It is MINE.”
