What's This?

DWJ Social Media Contest

Today kicks off 28 days of celebrating what would have been Kyle Wilson Mead’s 28th birthday on August 27.  All I heard was “gather the girls” and chatter in celebration…then help the next author do the same.

So what’s the plan?  In celebration, we have a 28 day series of guest posts – topics to be determined by each author. Officially we call it the Dance With Jesus Birthday Beach Bash and Book Blog Tour.  Each of the guests will also review Dance With Jesus: From Grief to Grace on their own blog and Amazon – creating chatter.

For you, the reader, we have a FUN social media chatter contest as well.  $100 Gift card Giveaway.  WHY?  Kyle LOVED cash for his birthday present, so someone else will get this gift!  HOW?  Simple:

1. Post a book cover picture of Dance With Jesus: From Grief to Grace on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook – as many times as you want to!

2. Use hashtag #DanceWithJesus

3. Tag @SusanBMead

4. Invite your friends to join the chatter by sharing this contest with them too

So let’s get this party started.  Sue Detweiler is kicking this series off. Thank you Sue.

My friend Susan’s life was shattered. She had brought two beautiful sons into the world. Nothing could prepare her for loss of her son Kyle to a drug overdose. No mother or father expects to bury their child. The depth of loss drove Susan to her own healing journey to find God’s restoration. Watch Susan’s brief video testimony:

Healing Journey

God leads everyone of us on a healing journey at one point in our lives. Everyone’s journey is different, because we grieve differently.

  1. That would be a terrible thing to have happen. God does help us heal. Wonderful to celebrate your son’s life!

  2. Susan, what a great way to celebrate, Kyle! Bless you, Dear One! I actually read Sue’s post on her blog before I knew that you were doing this and I was telling her what an awesome lady you are! I pray blessings over both of you incredible women of GOD! *HUGS* 🙂

  3. Susan, thank you for including us in the party, thinking of you and your sweet heart over the next 28 days… Blessings on you, your family, your book, and your ministry…

  4. Walking closer with God to help others. It is so healing to our own pain isn’t it? I’m looking forward to your book.
    Blessings dear one,

  5. I think the problem or issue among us roots from being unaware of this fact. Everyone matters. Life is fragile.
    Great read!

  6. What a wonderful month-long event! I’ll be posting, too, and watching and cheering you on from the sidelines!!
Thanks for hosting, Susan, and encouraging us along the way…
    Have a terrific weekend 🙂

  7. I praise God for literal rebuilding work he did in you. You shine your renewal dear friend. Shine on and shine big in the name of Jesus Christ. He is working out his glory through you. It’s awesome. Your big fan, Kelly
