John 7:16-18

Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own.  It comes from him who sent me.  17 If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.  18 He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

Amen

James 4:13-17

13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”  14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow.  What is your life?  You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.  15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”  16 As it is, you boast and brag.  All such boasting is evil.  17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.

1 John 5:13-15

13 I write these thinks to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.  14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God:  that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  15 And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.

Praise God — You reveal Yourself through Your precious Word, Lord.  Thank You.  Thank You.  Thank You.  For caring, for defining how we are to live, for how we are to pray and for how we are to ASK — of YOU.  By Your  will, may I glorify You, Father God.  My desire is to reflect YOUR LIGHT so others may see YOU…in my actions, in my words, in my life.  To Your honor and glory, Mighty King, I raise my voice and songs of glory.  Alleluia!  You Reign!

Please show me Your will today, Father God.  I come humbly before You — seeking YOUR guidance.  May I clearly see and know YOUR WILL today…IF it is Your will for me to know today.

Wait patiently

Act diligently

Speak softly, with My love to all you encounter today.

In Jesus name.  Amen
